Our responders happily volunteered to assist on the gruelling 100 mile walk recently undertaken over the North Yorkshire Moors on Bank Holiday Weekend.

CP8 Sleights

In reply to your email about the North Yorkshire Community Response Team we found them to be friendly and helpful and when we sent in to say we had some retirees they were not long in responding to our requests

CP9 Hawsker

As you know the team were based at Hawsker our CP and only one person retired. The team seemed very professional and we saw them coming and going. (When they first turned up we thought the cavalry had arrived in the night!) They sat with the Raynet people and waited for the call.  I’m glad the experience was good for them. It seems to have worked well for everyone.

CP11 Littlebeck

Our team were very complimentary on all aspects of the NYMoors 100 and saw no areas for improvement in the good work of your team.

Well done to you all.

CP12 Goathland

We found the system for collecting retirees worked very well at Goathland, the guys doing the collecting were courteous and very considerate, communication was good, it couldnt have worked better.

CP13 Stape

Only had one vehicle, with us for such a short time, very pleasant.

The 4×4 response team deserve a mention as we worked very well together. It was good that they are licensed operators with com’s in the vehicles.

Well done to all of the team
